What do you play?
A wide repertoire — from Stevie Wonder, Prince and Michael Jackson to today's hits, plus the Danish favourites when the party calls for them. We build the setlist around your guests and read the room as the night unfolds.
Do you speak English?
Yes — the whole band speaks English, and we're used to international crowds. We host the evening in English (or a mix) whenever that suits your guests.
We're planning from abroad — how does it work?
No problem — most of it happens by email and video call. We're used to working with planners and venues, we answer quickly, and you'll have one contact from first email to the last song.
Do you use backing tracks?
No. Many bands today lean on backing tracks — pre-recorded parts from a computer that lock the music in place. We believe the music should be played live by skilled musicians — no backing tracks at all. We write our own arrangements to fit the lineup, and everything you hear is played in the moment — with room for an extra solo and one more chorus when everyone's dancing and singing along.
Do you play corporate events and Christmas parties?
Yes — corporate parties are among our most-booked events. Popular dates in November and December go early, so get in touch in good time.
Do you play weddings?
Yes, weddings are among our most-booked events. We build the repertoire so both younger and older guests hit the dance floor — and we keep the volume where the party works for everyone.
Can you play our first dance?
Yes — we're happy to play your first dance live, in the tempo that suits you. We coordinate the timing with your toastmaster or planner so the party continues straight from the dance. (If you'd like the traditional Danish bridal waltz, we play that too — it requires keys in the lineup.)
Can you play our song?
Ask us — if you have a favourite song that means something special, we'll see if it can be worked into the repertoire.
How long do you play?
Typically 1×60, 2×60 or 3×45 minutes — or whatever we agree. The sets follow your programme, and extra sets can be arranged in advance so the price stays fixed.
Can we get background music for dinner?
Yes. Our Lounge Band plays laid-back, acoustic sets for the welcome, reception or dinner. Want it more jazzy? Many combine us with our jazz trio at jazztrio.dk — booked together at a better price.
Can we get a DJ after the band?
Yes. Many choose a DJ for the late hours after the band's last set — the party continues without a break. The DJ is booked together with the band in one quote.
Is there music during the breaks?
Yes — we provide music between sets, so the dance floor never goes quiet.
Do you bring your own sound and lights?
Yes, we bring everything — sound and lights matched to the room. You only need to provide power and space for the band.
Do you play festivals and street parties?
Yes — outdoor stages, festivals and street parties too, with sound and setup to match the venue and crowd.
How long does setup and soundcheck take?
We set up quickly and discreetly, and our rig works with presets: the sound is dialled in beforehand, so there's no long, noisy soundcheck while your guests have arrived. It sounds right from the first song. We agree the setup time with you or the venue.
How much space and power does the band need?
It depends on the setup — from the lounge band's small footprint to the showband's full stage. We sort out space and power with you or the venue before the day.
How early should we book?
The earlier the better — especially for Saturdays, wedding season and the Christmas party months. Send an enquiry and we'll quickly confirm whether your date is free.
Do you play all over Denmark?
Yes. Travel is agreed as part of the quote, wherever in the country your party is.
